Never played ultimate? Played twice at a cookout and want to actually learn? Fall Learning League is BUDA's from-scratch program: eight Saturday mornings in Somerville covering throwing, cutting, marking, and the rules — capped each week with small-sided games.

Coaches are volunteer veterans from BUDA's club leagues, and the curriculum assumes nothing. By week eight you will have a forehand, a sense of where to stand, and — most importantly — a crew of fellow beginners to join a winter league with.

Registration opens August 1. Cleats help but sneakers are fine to start; bring water and a light and a dark shirt.
