Contact & FAQ
Write to info@buda.org with anything at all. A volunteer reads every message. For the common questions, the answers below are faster.
Who to email
- General questions and feedback — info@buda.org
- Volunteering — volunteers@buda.org, the general volunteer list
- Youth programs — youth@buda.org
- Website problems — web@buda.org
Every league also has its own coordinator address, listed on the league's page. The Summer Club League coordinator answers SCL questions much faster than the general inbox. Find your league under all leagues & events.
Registration and waivers
Everyone needs a free account. Find the event you want, hit Register, and follow the steps. The wizard can pick the league for you first. The liability waiver is part of registration: you sign it once per calendar year and it covers every BUDA event that year.
For youth, a parent or guardian creates the account and registers their player from it. Registering two or three kids? Choose Register a family member, add each child once, and the registrations queue into one checkout.
Common questions
- I've never played. Where do I start? A Learning League: coached, beginner-only, no experience assumed. Fall Learning League is the next one.
- What's a hat league? You sign up alone or with a friend, and organizers draw balanced teams — as if names came out of a hat. The easiest way to play without a team.
- What does it cost? Every league is pay-what-you-can. SCL 2026 runs from $80 down to free, your choice, no questions.
- I have no team. Can I still play league? Yes: register as a free agent and captains pick you up, or join any hat league.
- Where are schedules and scores? Right here, updated as captains report.
Mailing list
The BUDA newsletter carries registration openings, league announcements, and the occasional field-day call for help. Sign in, open your account, and set your email preferences. You can subscribe to youth events but not adult leagues, or the reverse. Unsubscribing from one topic never drops the registration emails for events you're actually in.
Equipment and insurance
Running a clinic, a school program, or a pickup game? BUDA often has discs and cones to donate or sell at a discount; email info@buda.org. Town field permits sometimes require proof of insurance; we can issue a certificate for events run under BUDA's umbrella, usually within a week.
