Your kid makes
the calls.
Ultimate has no referees — players settle their own calls, K-2 included. BUDA runs town leagues for grades K-12 in eight Boston-area towns, plus a competitive club track. Every program is pay-what-you-can.
The two tracks
Town leagues, grades K-12
Where almost every kid starts: a season with your town’s program, in grade bands from K-2 up to 11-12+, where everyone plays every week and brand-new players are the norm.
Youth club (YCC)
The competitive track: tryout teams that train together all summer and travel to USA Ultimate’s Youth Club Championships.
About the club trackWhat runs when
Three seasons a year, registered by town and grade band. Kids can join any season cold. Gear is provided; send them with cleats or sneakers and a water bottle.

Youth programs run on the same sliding scale as every BUDA league. Pick the tier that works for your family — every tier plays the same season, your pick is private, and there’s no paperwork and no questions. If $0 is the right number this year, pick $0.

How to sign your kid up
- Create a BUDA accountOne parent account covers the family. Kids are added as family members, so they never need their own logins or email addresses.
- Pick the town programFind your town and grade band in the season list above. The event page has the dates, the fields, and the sliding scale.
- Register them as a family memberThe first question in the flow is who's registering. Choose “a family member,” pick your kid, and their info fills itself in. A second kid takes about two minutes.
Every town program runs on volunteer coaches — many of them parents who stayed past drop-off. See coaching openings
