Jamaica Plain's neighborhood hat league is back for the summer: sign up solo, get drafted onto a balanced team, and play Sunday afternoons through August. It is the friendliest on-ramp into Boston ultimate — about a third of each season's players are brand new to the sport.
Games are self-officiated and intentionally low-stakes. Captains teach as much as they call plays, and the post-game tradition is less "film review" and more "whoever's turn it is brings the watermelon."
Registration for 2026 is closed — the league filled in eleven days — but join the interest list and we will email you the moment fall registration opens.
