Summer 2026 Pickup Lists

Want to play this summer without committing to a team? Join a pickup list. When an SCL team is short players for a game, captains email the list — you reply, you show up, you play. It is the lowest-commitment way to get on a field in Boston this summer, and plenty of people find their future team this way.

There are four lists: Everyone, and separate Defenders of Choice (DoC), Defenders of Women (DoW), and Defenders of Men (DoM) lists so captains can fill the exact line they need. Sign up for as many as apply to you.

It is free, all summer, no strings. You will get a handful of emails a week at peak season; reply to the ones that fit your schedule and ignore the rest.
