Board election results

The 2025 board election is in the books: 412 ballots cast, the most in BUDA history, electing members to four open seats.
Two returning board members were re-elected to second terms, and two first-time members join the board — one from the GGM community and one who came up entirely through the youth program and high school league, which says something good about the pipeline. Terms run two years, starting January 1.
Committee assignments will be finalized at the January meeting, but the immediate priorities are already clear from the candidate forums: field access and permit advocacy, sustaining the sliding-scale model, and growing the coaching corps for youth programs.
Outgoing members leave with our enormous thanks — including six years of service from our departing treasurer, who inherited a spreadsheet and leaves behind an actual accounting system.
Board meetings are open to all members; minutes are posted monthly. If you voted: thank you. If you didn't: we will see you next November.
